Solutions :-

Given :
A man buys 10 articles for 8 rupees.

Find the Selling price of 10 articles at 1.25 per article :-

Selling price of 10 articles = Rs (1.25 × 10) = Rs 12.5

Now we have,
Cost Price of 10 articles = Rs 8
Selling price of 10 articles = Rs 12.5

Here,
Selling price is greater than the Cost price. Therefore, Gain.

Gain = S.P - C.P
= Rs (12.5 - 8)
= Rs 4.5

Hence,
His Gain is Rs 4.5

ANSWERS :)

Cost price of 10 article = Rs 8

Selling price of 1 article = Rs 1.25

Selling price of 10 article = 10 × 1.25

= Rs 12.5

Gain = 12.5 - 8 = Rs 4.5

Gain percent = Gain × 100 /Cost price

= 4.5 × 100 / 8

= 4.5 × 25 /2

= 4.5 × 12.5

= 56.25 /
