A man buys 1litre of milk for rupees 20 and mix it with 15% of water. He then sells this formed milk at rupees 15 per litre. Find the percentage of loss in this case?​

so he buy 3L of milk in ₹60

so he buy 3000ml of milk in ₹60

he added 15% of water in it = 3000/100*15 =450ml

so he added 450ml of water in it

so the total of milk and water = 3L 450ml

=3.45L

so he sell the 1L of formed milk in ₹15

so he sell the 3.45L formed milk in 345/100*15 =₹51.75

so the loss = CP-SP

= 60-51.75 = ₹8.25

so the loss percentage = 8.25/60*100

=₹13.75(ANS)
