Answer:

20 kg apples × RS 60 per kg = RS.1200

30 kg apples × RS 70 per kg = RS.2100

Total kg=20kg+40kg= 50 kg

Total purchase = RS.1200+RS.2100= RS.3300

Price per kg for 50kg apples= Rs3300÷50kg

Price per kg for 50kg apples=Rs66

25% of RS 66 = 66×25/100

= 66×0.25

=16.50

Now, To gain 25% profit we have to add 25% in per kg of purchase price = RS. 66.00 + RS 16.50

= RS.82.50

Answer; To gain 25% profit, he should sell the apples for RS.82.50 per kg

Hope this is useful for you
