Answer:17.7% loss

Step-by-step explanation:

the man buys 200 bananas at 8 a rupee

so cost of 200 bananas = 200/8

= ₹25

buys 250 bananas at 4 a rupee

so cost of one banana = 250/4

= ₹125/2

= ₹62.5

total spent on 200+250 = 450 bananas = 62.5+25

= 87.5

he sells 450 bananas at 6 for a rupee

he earns ₹ 450/6

=₹75

his earning is less than his spending.

so it is a loss

loss = 87.5 - 75

= 15.5

loss% = loss/cost price × 100

(15.5/87.5)×100

0.177 × 100

= 17.7% loss(ans)

hope it helps you!!
