A man buys 25 kg of one type of wheat for Rs 39.23 per kg and 16.25 kg of another type of wheat at Rs 43 per kg. He mixes both types and makes packets of 3750g? How many such packets of wheat are made? What is the cost of each packet?

Cost of each packet= 152.68

No.of packets-

Total mass of wheat = (25+16.25) = 41.25kg.

Now, mass of one packet = 3750g= 3.75 kg

So, total no. of packets= 41.25/3.75= 11

Hence, total no. of packets = 11

Cost of each packet

Cost of 25kg wheat @ of Rs.39.23/kg

= 39.23×25 = Rs.980.75

And,

Cost of 16.25 kg wheat@ of Rs.43/kg

= 16.25×43= Rs. 698.75

Now,

Total cost = 980.75+698.75= Rs . 1679.5

Since, no. of packets= 11

So, Cost of each packet= Rs.1679.5/11

=Rs. 152.68
