Ok so first let convert the given mass in kg's

For that,
We know,

1kg = 1000g
So ,
xkg = 250/1000kg
So our mass in kg's is 0.25 kg

Note that the above mass is the mass the man bought in 1 day but we need to take out for the month of January (that is 31 days )

So it's clear that we will multiply the given quantity with 31

Which is ,

31 × 0.25

= 7.75kg
