Answer:

Original Cost Price = Rs. 4700

Addition repair cost = Rs. 800

Selling Price = Rs. 5800

Gain % = ?

Net Cost Price = Rs. 4700 + Rs. 800 = Rs. 5500

Selling Price = Rs. 5800

⇒ Gain = SP - CP

⇒ Gain = 5800 - 5500 = Rs. 300

∴ Gain% = ( Gain / CP ) × 100

⇒ Gain% = ( 300 / 5500 ) × 100

⇒ Gain% = ( 30000 / 5500 )

⇒ Gain% = 5.45%

Hence Gain% on the scooter is 5.45 %.

Total cost price is

4700+800=5500

sell price is 5800

profit =s.p-c.p

5800-5500

300

we know that gain precent

 \frac{profit}{c.p} \times 100 \\ \frac{300}{5500} \times 100 \\ \frac{300}{55} \\ \frac{60}{11} \\ 5.45 \%(aprox)
