heya mate !!

here's your answer :-

__________________________

Given that ,

□ A man buys a T.V. for ₹ = 6800

For how should he sell it :-

1 ) = To gain 10 % and

2 ) = To loose 5 % on it.

So , let's solve this question

____________________________

1 ) = To gain 10 % he should sell ==>

According to the question :-

====> 6800 of 10 %

====> ( 6800 * 10 ) / 100

====> ₹ 680 ( more )

Since , cost price is ₹ 6800

So , he should sell in ₹

=========> 6800 + 680

=========> 7480.

● hence , he should sell it ₹ 7480 so as to gain 10 % profit.

__________________________

2 ) = To loose 5 %

According to the question :-

===> 6800 of 5 %

===> ( 6800 * 5 ) / 100

===> 68 * 5

===> ₹ 340 ( less )

Since , cost price is 6800

So , he should sell in ₹

====> 6800 - 340

====> ₹ 6460.

● hence , he should sell in ₹ 6460 to loose 5%.

Answer:

We know that,

Cost price of T.V=6800

(i) Selling price of T.V so as to gain 10% on it

=6800+6800×

100

10

=6800+680

=7480

(ii) Selling price of T.V so as to loss 5% on it

=6800−6800×

100

5

=6800−340

=6460
