Solution:

SP= Marked price - Discount

First let's find the distance.......

15% of 3000= Discount

\displaystyle\frac{15}{100} \times 3000

 \mathsf{15  \times 30}

RS.450 = Discount.

So, SP= 3000-450= 2550

As we know that,

SP - CP = PROFIT

=> CP = SP - PROFIT

=> CP = Rs (2550 - 400)

=> CP = Rs 2150
