C.P of a eggs = 5/3 a
S.P of 5 eggs= 12.
S.P of a eggs = 12/5 a
We know that profit = S.P - C.P
143 = 12a/5 - 5/3a
143 = 36a - 25a/15 = 11/15a
a = 143 × 15/11 = 195
So, he buys eggs = 195.
