Effort arm = ?

Effort =75N

Load = 100N

Load Arm = 0.5m = 5cm

Effort × Effort Arm = Load×Load Arm

Effort Arm = Load × Load Arm/Effort

Substitute the values,

Effort Arm = 100×50/75

Effort Arm = 66.6cm

So, to apply the force of 75N length of nut cracker should be 66.6 cm.

Answer:

we change 0.5m into cm = 50 cm

then we have known that load×load arm=effort×effort arm
