Because the gravitational force of moon is one sixth of gravitational force of earth :)

This can be answered using the equation,
     H = ( v₀² sin²θ ) / 2g
this is the equation of finding the height of earth.

let g¹ be the gravity in moon & g be in earth..

Like we know,
      g¹ = g/6
∴ H also changes.
       H =  (v₀² sin²θ) / (2g/6)
          = 6
×( v₀² sin²θ ) / 2g

∴ a man can jump on moon 6 times as high on earth
