A man can jump six times as high on the moon than on the earth because the value of 'g' on the surface of the moon is about one-sixth of its value on the surface of the earth. ... The earth and the moon are attracted to each other by gravitational force. ... If the moon attracts the earth ...

as the gravity or the gravitational pull on moon is 1/6 that on earth..... hence it's pull or the gravitational force is less (1/6 to be precise) so if u jump there u will jump 6 time as high on earth....
hope it's helpful mate
