Answer:

Total 20 trucks will be loaded.

Step-by-step explanation:

One  man takes 9 min to load 1 box.

so in 90 min one man can load 10 boxes.

Now ,there are 16 men ,so in 90 min = 16 x 10 = 160 boxes

If a truck can contain 8 boxes,

So for 160 boxes = 160/8 = 20 .

Ans : 20 trucks can be loaded in 90 min by 16 men

Answer:

A man can load one box in 9 minutes. A truck can contain 8 boxes. If 16 men load for one and a half hour, how many trucks will be loaded?

Therefore after 1 and half hour the 16 men will have loaded 20 trucks.

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the number of boxes that the 16 men can load in 9 minutes

If 1 man can load a box in 9 minutes

The 16 men will load = 1 × 16 boxes in 9 minutes

Therefore the 16 men can load together 16 boxes in 9 minutes

Find the number of minutes in 1 and half hour:

1 hour 30 minutes = 1 × 60 minutes + 30 minutes

                            = 60 + 30 minutes = 90 minutes

Therefore the total time the 16 men worked was 90 minutes

If in 9 minutes they load  = 16 boxes

Then in 90 minutes they load = 16 boxes × 90 minutes/9 minutes

                                               = 160 boxes

Therefore after 1 and half hour the 16 men will have loaded 160 boxes

Find the number trucks that will be loaded:

If 8 boxes  = 1 truck

Then 160 boxes = 1 truck × 160 boxes/8 boxes

                         =  20 trucks

Therefore after 1 and half hour the 16 men will have loaded 20 trucks
