Answer:

50 kg

Explanation:

Take mass of man as 'M'.

Assuming all energy is used to do work, use G.P.E = mgh.

Potential energy = (M+50) x 9.8 x 40

So, G.P.E = 392M +19600

Other equation; Power = W/t

P = (392M + 19600)/25

so,

1568 x 25 = 392M + 19600

392M = 39200 - 19600

Mass 'M' = 19600/392 = 50Kg.

Hope it helps you..

Correct Question :-

A man carries a load of 50 kg through a height of 40 m in 25s. If the power of the man is 1568W , then find his mass? ( Take g = 10 m/s²)

Answer

Given :-

  • Mass of load = 50 lg
  • Height = 40 m
  • Time = 25 s
  • Power = 1568 W
  • Acceleration due to gravity = 10 m/s²

To find :-

Mass of man -

Solution :-

\sf P = \frac{mgh}{t}

\sf 1568 =  \frac{(50 + m_m) \times 40 \times 10}{25}

\sf 50 + m_m  =  98

\sf m_m = 48

Mass of man = 48 kg
