A man cleaning a floor pulls a vacuum cleaner with a force of magnitude F = 50 N at an angle of 30° with the horizontal . Calculate the work done by the force on the vacuum cleaner as the vacuum cleaner is displaced 3 m to the right

in other case
if the force unknown and he give the mass and the angle
find the force net

Answer:

here mass is not participating in any role

Explanation:

so resolving of components

f=50

work done = force in direction of displacement x displacement

that equal to

                   =f cos 30 x30

                    =50 x \sqrt{3/2} x 3

                    =75\sqrt{3}

                    =129.75

                     =130 j

in case -2 if mass is then it will not affect the answer

then

W=f. cosФ

   = (mg) (cos 90) 3

    w=0

so here mass is not participating in any role
