Hey.

Here is the answer.

Let the total distance of journey be 2x km

So, for 1st half distance x km

time taken = x/21 hr

and for 2nd half distance x km

time taken = x/24 hr

So, total time = x/21 + x/24 = 10 hr

or, 10 = (24x+21x)/21×24

or, 10 = 45x/504

or, 5040 = 45x

so, x = 112 km

So, total journey = 2x = 2×112 = 224 km

Thanks.
