A man complete a journey
in 10 hours. He travels first
half of the journey at the rate
of 21 km/hr and second half
at the rate of 24 km/hr. Find
the total journey in km.​

Answer:

Total time of journey = 10 hours

First half of journey = Second half of journey =10/2 =5 hour

Now, speed= distance travelled/time taken

Since we already know speed and time taken,we can put that equation like this

Distance = Speed × time taken

Since the journey has two halves with different speed,

Total distance = Distance travelled in first half + Distance travelled in second half

Total distance =(21 × 5) + (24× 5) = 105 + 120 =225kms
