Let the man travel for t hours with the speed 18 kmph. He travels with 15 kmph for 8-t hours .

So 136 km = t * 18 + (8 - t) * 15

So t = 16/3 hrs.

Distance traveled with 18 kmph = 18*16/3 = 96 km

Distance traveled with 15 kmph = 136-96 = 40km

Hope This Helps :)
