Distance trevelled = 30 km

Speed =6km/hr

Time = Distance / speed

= 30 /6 = 5hours

Average speed =Total distance/total time

=30+ 40 \5+5 = 70/10 =7km/hr

Step-by-step explanation:

total distance = 30km + 40km = 70km

total time = (30/6) hrs + 5 hrs

= 5+5 = 10hrs

average spee = total distance traveled/total time taken

= 70km/10hrs = 7km/h
