hlo dear friend

according to given condition
vt=(v+3)(t-2/3)
vt=(v-2)(t+2/3)

here v is velocity in kmph,t is time in hours and 2/3 is value of 40 min in hours
on solving we get t=10/3 ,v=12
so distance = vt =10/3*12=40

hope u understand

Distance =S1S2/(S1−S2)×t

from both conditions,

S(S+3)3×40=S(S−2)2×40

2S+6=3S−6

S = 12 km/hr

from condition 1st

12×153×4060 = 40 km
