Let distance be x kmph and speed y kmph.
∴Now, according to question,
⇒x/y - x/(y+3) = 40/ 60 ............ (i)
⇒x/(y-2) - x/y = 40/60 .............. (ii)
∴On solving Eqn (i) and (ii), we get
⇒y = 12 kmph.
⇒x = 40 km. ANS
