Distance covered = 36 km

Time taken = 1 hour

By converting the distance into m, we get

36 km = 36 × 1000 = 36,000 m

By converting the time into seconds, we get

1 hour = 60 × 60 = 3,600 seconds

We know that Speed = Distance / Time

Now, by converting the Speed into m/s, we get

Speed = 36,000/3,600 = 10 m/s.

Answer:

The speed in metres/sec is 10 m/s. (approx.)

Here , distance = 36km = (36×1000)

= 36000 m

Time = 1 hour (1×60×60) = 3600 sec

 \red \dag \purple{ \boxed{ \sf{{Speed =  \frac{ \cancel{36000}}{ \cancel{3600}}}}} } \\
