A man covers a distance 3 km towards east and then 2 km towards north and then 3 km towards east again. Find the diplacement and distance on this motion?​

Hence applying Pythagoras theorem we get

Displacement = √(square of total horizontal distance + square of total vertical distances)

=√(6x6+2x2)

=√(36+4)

=√40
