A man covers a distance of 14 km in an hour. Partly on foot at the rate of 14 km/hr and partly on scooter at ,44 km/hr. Find the distance the travelled by himself on foot ?

Let x = time the horse walked and

therefore, acc.to the question,

Now, as horse can walk at a speed of 9 km/hr

therefore,

distance travelled by horse =2/3 ×9 = 6km
