Answer:

Let the time he walks be x hours From the given condition

3(x) + 9(3 - x) 15 6x = 12

x=2

So the time he runs is 3 - 2 = 1 hour

Distance covered by running is 1 x 9=9

km

A) First we will multiply 5 to 5 because in 1 hour man covers 5 kilometre so we will multiply this then ans will come:5×5=25.

B) In Question B we will divide 10 by 5 because in 1 hour man walk 5 km in 1 hour so it's answer is:10÷5=2

So man cover 10 km in 2 hours
