Answer - 200 steps

If a man covers 60m in 40 steps, then length covered in each step = ?

The length covered by each step = Distance ÷ No. of steps

                                                        = 60 ÷ 40 = 1.5m

∴ The length covered in each step is 1.5m.

Steps taken to cover a distance of 300m = 300 ÷ 1.5 = 200

∴ The man took 200 steps to cover a distance of 300m.

Answer:

200steps

Step-by-step explanation:

A man covers 60m in 40 steps, the length covered in each step=?

Distance

=------------------

No of steps

60

=-------- = 1.5m

40

Therefore, the length covered in each step is 1.5m.

Steps taken to cover a distance of 300m = 300÷1.5=200

Therefore, man took 200 steps to cover a distance of 300m
