so, velocity of the man = L/18 m/s

Now time taken by the bus to cross the pole

is 4 s

so, velocity of the bus = L/4 m/s

Ratio = speed of the bus : the speed of the man

= L/4 : L/18

= 18 : 4

= 9 : 2
