Here P=25000, T or n=2, R=6%, i=6/100=.06

Incase of Simple Interest

S.I=PTR/100

=(25,000×2×6)/100

=Rs3000

In case of Compound Interest

C.I=P(1+I)ⁿ -1

=25,000[(1+.06)²-1]

=25,000[(1.06)²-1]

=25,000(1.1236-1)

=25,000×.1236

=Rs3090

Answer:-

\pink{\bigstar} The bank will pay the interest of a \large\leadsto\boxed{\tt\red{Rs. \: 3000}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Given:-

  • A man deposits Rs. 25000 in bank.

  • Time = 2 years

  • Rate = 6% p.a

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

To Find:-

  • Interest to be payed by the bank.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Solution:-

We know,

\pink{\bigstar} \large\underline{\boxed{\bf\green{S.I = \dfrac{P \times R \times T}{100}}}}

where,

  • S.I = Simple Interest

  • P = Principal amount

  • R = Rate

  • T = Time period

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Substituting in the Formula:-

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

\sf S.I = \dfrac{25000 \times 6 \times 2}{100}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

\sf S.I = 250 \times 6 \times 2

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

\sf S.I = 250 \times 12

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

\large{\bf\purple{S.I = 3000}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Therefore,the total amount he will get will be:-

PRINCIPAL + INTEREST

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

\sf 25000 + 3000

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

\large{\bf\purple{Rs. \: 28000}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Hence, the bank will pay him interest of Rs. 3000 and the total amount will be Rs. 28000
