A man digging a pit found that he could dig with ease initially but digging became difficult as he went deeper.
He could not dig beyond a depth of 5 feet.
Provide a suitable scientific explanation.

HI........

With the increase in depth on the surface of Earth, the supply of Oxygen becomes lower & lower. This causes lack in respiration rate and in production of Energy. This causes the reduction in the ability to work further.

There could be another reason that with the increase in the depth, the Earth becomes coarser; the presence of rocks causes more difficulty on working.
