Given total number of toffees distributed = 236.

Number of children's left out = 11.

Number of children's left in = 236 - 11

= 225.

Given that Each child get as many toffees as there were children.

 = > \sqrt{225}

 = > \sqrt{15^2}

 = > 15.

Therefore, the number of children = 15.

Hope this helps!
