Answer:

Total Number of chocolates = 30

Number of toffees given to A = x

Number of toffees given to B = 2x

Number of toffees given to C = 3x

So sum of all chocolates is 30

=> x + 2x + 3x = 30

=> 6x = 30

=> x = 30 / 6 = 5 toffees

=> 2x = 2 * 5 = 10 toffees

=> 3x = 3 * 5 = 15 toffees

Therefore A gets 5 toffees B gets 10 toffees and C gets 15 toffees.

Let the child, who gets the least number of toffees, be getting x number of toffees.

So, child 2 = 2x toffees; and child 3 = 3x toffees

So, total toffees given :   3x + 2x + x  = 6x toffees

6x toffees = 30 toffees

So, x = 30/6 = 5 toffees.

So, 2x = 10; 3x = 15

Therefore, the children get = 5, 10 and 15 toffees respectively

Hope it helps!
