as power=work/time

case 1: 200/10=20 watt

case 2: 100/4= 25 watt

ratio= man/boy
       = 20/25
       = 4/5 = 4:5

The boy is delivering more amount of power than the man. The ratio of our delivered by the man to that by the boy is 4:5

Explanation:

  • The efficiency of two people working can be found out by the the power with which they are working.
  • And as we are given the work done by both the person that is the man and the boy.
  • Also we are given the time in which they are doing that work it is easy to find the power by substituting the values in the formula of power.

So, for the case of men, the power would be \frac{200}{10}= 20 watt

And  in case of the boy, power would be \frac{100}{4}= 25 watt

Hence, the power delivered by boys more than men and the ratio of powers of man to boy is \frac{20}{25} = \frac{4}{5}
