Solution:- let the man's monthly income be 'x'

Total amount donated = 4% + 10% = 11% = 11x/100

Balance = income - expenditure (donation)

10800 = x - 11x/100

10800 × 100 = 100x - 11x

10800 × 100 = 89x

x = 10800 × 100/89

x = 12134
