A man donated 5% of his monthly income to a charity and deposited 12% of the rest in a Bank. If he has Rs. 11704 left with him, what is his monthly income?​

Donation = \frac{5x}{100}  

Money Left = x - \frac{5x}{100} = \frac{95x}{100}

(100 - 12 = 88)

Money Left = \frac{95x}{100} ×\frac{88}{100} = 11,704

x = \frac{11,704. 100. 100}{80. 88}

x = 16,625

Therefore the income is Rs. 16,625.
