Answer:

answer is 240 Km

Explanation:

we know that speed=distance/time

so, distance= speed*time all should be in standard units

so distance=40*6

=240km

To find :

  • Distance travelled.

Given :

  • Speed = 40 km/hr.
  • Time taken = 6 hours.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Solution

Using the formula,

Distance = speed × time taken

Substituting the given values, we get -

 \sf{distance = speed \times time\:taken} \\  \implies \sf{Distance = 40 \times 6} \\  \implies \red{\boxed{\sf{Distance = 240\:km}}}

Distance between the towns, travelled by the car is 240km.
