If the question asks about average speed and velocity during the entire journey i.e., from A to B and then to A, then the answer is as as follows-

Answer:

Average velocity = 0

Average speed = 22.22 m/s

Explanation:

Since, the displacement of the driver is zero. So average velocity will be zero.

Now, the total distance traveled by the driver is 200 + 200 kms, in time 3 + 0.5 + 1.5 hrs.

So, average speed = \frac{Total~distance~travelled}{Total~time~taken} = \frac{400~*~10^{3}}{5~*~60~*~60} \frac{metre}{second}

Av. Speed = 22.22 m/s
