Money he saved= 12000-10500 = 1500

% he saves = (1500/12000)*100
= (1/8)*100
= 12.5

The money earned by a man = Rs 12000

The money spend by him = Rs 10500

The rest money which he didn't spend and had left with him is his savings

The money left with him

= earned money - money spend

= Rs 12000 - Rs 10500

= Rs 1500

$\therefore$ The man saved Rs 1500

To be found :-

The percentage of his savings

= [ $\frac{1500}{12000} \times 100$ ]  %

= 12.5 %

Hence,

The percentage of saved money of the man is 12.5%
