A man from a van moving with a speed of 36 km/h fires a bullet at a car moving in the same direction with a speed of 108 km/h. If speed of bullet is 504 km/h, then with what speed the bullet strikes the car

Vc1 = 36km/h

Vc2 = 108km/h

Vbc1 = 504km/h

so , we have to find speed of the bullet

therefore, Vbc = Vb - Vc1

504 = Vb - 36

504+36 = Vb

540 = Vb

now speed of bullet with respect to car 2 :

Vbc2 = Vb - Vc2

Vbc2 = 540 - 108

Vbc2 = 432 km/h
