let the total amt. be X

if half of his share is given to his wife then half is remaining =X × 1/2(1-1/2 =1/2)

nd 3/4 of remaining of to son that means = X x 1/2 x 3/4

nd to daughter rest = X × 1/2 × 1/4(as 3/4 is given to son thus 1/4 will be available to his daughter)

so, X × 1/2 × 1/4 = 15000

X = 1,20,000

amt. given to his wife nd son = 1,20,000 - 15000 = 1,05,00
