Answer:

Rs.37000

Explanation:

Given :

  • A man gets an employment of Rs.1000per month with an annual increment of Rs.50

To Find :

  • Earning of the man in 10 years.

Solution :

\sf{}Present\ salary= Rs\ 1000\ per\ month

\sf{}Annual\ salary\ in\ first\ year=12\times1000=Rs.\ 12000

\sf{}Increment\ every\ year=Rs\ 50

\sf{}Annual\ salary\ in\ second\ year=12\times1050= Rs.\ 12600

\sf{}So,\ a =12000,d=Rs.\ 600\ and\ n= 10years

\sf{}S_n=\dfrac{n}{2}[2a+(n-1)d]

\sf{} \implies \dfrac{10}{2}[2\times1000+(10-1)600]

\sf{} \implies \dfrac{5}{1}[2000+(9)600]

\sf{} \implies 5(2000+ 5400)

\sf{} \implies 5(7400)

\sf{}\therefore Rs. 37000

Hence, earning of the man in 10 years is equal to Rs. 37000
