• The man worked for 20 days in June

Given :

• A man gets rupees 100 per day if he works
• He is fined by rupees 10 if he get absent
• Whole month of June he received rupees 1900

To find :

• How many days did he work

Solution :

• Let the man works days be x
• Let the man works absent days be y

Then , June has 30 days so ,

• x + y = 30

• So, x + y = 30 is first equation (1)

According To Question ,

Given,

》100x + 10y = 1900

》10x - y = 190

• 10x - y = 190 is second equation (2)

Now , Adding eq (1) and (2) we get ,

》x + y = 30 + 10x - y = 190

》11x = 220

》x = 220/11

》x = 20
