THE ANSWER IS = 5.103X10^9gms

EXPLANATION:

you have C12H22O11 so first lets calculate its molecular mass

which is

= 144 +22+176 = 342 a.m.u

now i have converted a.m.u into grams. by multiplying it with 1.66×10^-24

so which is equal to

5.67 × 10 -22 g ---------------------- 1 molecule

this weight is for i molecule now by unitary method we can proceed for 3 molecules

which would be

(5.67 × 10 -22 × 3 )g

for 3 × 10^9 people you will need

5.67 × 10 -22 × 3 × 3 × 10^9grams of sugar

= 5.67 × 10^-22 × 3 x 3 × 10^9

=5.103x10^9

and done :)
