A man goes 30km to north and 40km to east. How far away is hefrom his initial position?

after all the instructions as followed he will be 50km far away from initial position by using pythagorans theorem

he is 50km away from his initial position

because by pythagoras theorem

initial position=30*30+40*40

it gives you =900+1600

it will be 2500

if you square root it you will get 50

so the answer is 50km
