A man got a 10% increase in his salary . If his new salary is rupees 1,54,000, find his original salary.

\sf{||Solution||}

Let original salary be = \sf{100}

Increase % = 10%

Salary after increasing : 100 + (10% of 100)

= \sf{100 \: + \: 10}

= \sf{100}

\sf{Now;}

\sf{Original \: salary} =

\dfrac{100}{110} × 154000

||We have to divide 110 and 154000||

 \dfrac{1540000}{11}  = 1.40.000

'Therefore,his original salary is 1,40,000 !
