Hi !!

Let the man's original salary be x .

Increase = 10% = 10% of x = x/10

So,increased salary = x + x/10 = 11x/10

So,according to given condition , 11x/10 should be equal to 154000

⇒11x/10=154000

⇒11x=154000*10

⇒x = 1540000/11=140000

Answer : Hence , the original salary was 140000
