increase percentage=10%

increased value= Rs 1,54,000

we know the formula:

increased value= (1+increase/100) original value

1,54,000=(1+10/100)original value

1,54,000=(110/100)original value

1,54,000*100/110=original value

1,40,000=original value

hence his original salary is Rs 1,40,000

hope it will help you ^_^ ^_^

Given question:-

A man got a 10%increase in his salary.if his new salary is Rs 1,5,400

To find:-

find his original salary

Hence:-

Let ₹100 be his orginal salary.

New salary

10% = 100 + 100 = ₹110

Hence, 100 new salary of 110

So,1 = 100/110

= 100/110 × 15400 = ₹ 1,40,000

Hence, 1,40,000 is the orginal salary.
