Answer:

Money left with him = ₹ 3,750

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

• Total money = Rs. 25,000

• Money given to son = 20%

• To his daughter = 40%

• To his wife = 25%

To find :

• Money left with him.

Solution :

20 % of 25000

⇒ 25000 × 20 / 100

⇒ 50000 / 100

⇒ 5000

20 % of 25000 = 5000 ----------(A)

⇒ 40 % of 25000

⇒ 25000 × 40 / 100

⇒ 100000 / 100

⇒ 10000

40 % of 25000 =10000------------(B)

⇒ 25 % of 25000

⇒ 25000 × 25 / 100

⇒ 625000 / 100

⇒ 6250

25 % of 25000 = 6250 ------------(C)

Add (A), (B) and (C)

⇒ 5000 + 10000 + 6250

⇒ 21250

Remaining money :

⇒ 25,000 - 21,250

⇒ 3,750

Money left with him = ₹ 3,750
