Solutions :-

Given :
Total amount a man had = Rs 1200
He lost = 12 × ½% of Total. = 6% of Total.
He Spent = 70% of Remainder.

Find the money he lost :-

= 6% of 1200
= 0.06 × 1200
= 72

Remaining money = Rs (1200 - 72) = Rs 1128

Find the money he spent :-

= 70% of Remainder
= 0.7 × 1128
= 789.6

Find the money was left with him :-

= Rs (1128 - 789.6)
= Rs 338.4

Hence,
The money was left with him = Rs 338.4

Given that ;
• Amount that man had = ₹ 1,200
• Lost Amount = 1/2 % of total amount x 12 = 6% ( Total )

=> 6/100 x 1200

=> ₹ 72

• Remaining amount ;-

=> ₹{ 1200 - 72 }

=> ₹ 1178

________________________

• Money that he spent ;-

=> 70 % of the left amount.

=> 70/100 x 1128
