Step-by-step explanation:

Given:The man has 14 identical blue,

24 identical red,

7 identical black

Solution:

When the light is fused,

he will have 7 pairs of blue socks..... (1) 14÷2

he will have 12 pairs of red socks......(2) 24÷2

but dividing 7 by 2 we won't get an accurate ans

so (7-1)=6

if 7 socks are left he can get 3 pairs of black socks excluding the last sock

Therefore, he will have 3 pairs of black socks......(3) 6÷2

By (1), (2) and (3)

he will have in total 22 pairs of socks

Ans . The man should take 22 pairs of socks in the way that he has a pair of each colour.
